Here you will find examples of best practice in the Family Visit, how artwork connects children to their emotions and to you, videos to revisit from Instructor Training, and videos from other Roots of Empathy classrooms that highlight key elements of the program. I introduce these videos, putting them in context, so you can better understand our philosophy and core principles and then take what you've learned into the classroom. We en-courage you to explore the curriculum connections and deeply think about the reflective questions we've incorporated into each section. This is a resource for you, but we get something out of it too. We have an-other way to stay connected with our Instructors throughout the school year and beyond. We encourage you to send us feedback on what you find here. It was your feedback, comments and suggestions that were the foun-dation of this resource centre in the first place. Help us make it better, for you and for those who will come after you.I just want to say thank you, for your commitment to Roots of Empathy, and for your commitment to being the best Instructors you can be, but, most of all, of course, for your commitment to the children. We could not do what we do without you. Together we're changing the world, child by child. Sincerely, Mary
