Enabling Flash in your Browser

Here are the instructions to turn on Flash in Chrome so you can view the video.

  1. Type chrome://settings in the address bar
  2. Go to bottom of page to “Show advanced settings…”
  3. Under Privacy, click on “Content Settings”
  4. Go to Flash listing and click on “Allow site to use Flash”
  5. Deselect the “Ask first” option

Windows

  1. Click on the icon in the upper right corner of your browser. Open the Add-ons dialog box.
  2. Select Plugins.
  3. In the list of Add-ons, look for Shockwave Flash (another name for Flash Player) and check the status that appears to the right of the plug-in name. Shockwave Flash is disabled.
  4. Select Always Activate.
  5. Close the dialog box.

Mac OS

  1. Choose Firefox > Tools > Add-ons. Open the Add-ons dialog box.
  2. Select Plugins.
  3. In the list of Add-ons, look for Shockwave Flash (another name for Flash Player) and check the status that appears to the right of the plug-in name.
  4. Select Always Activate.
  5. Close the dialog box.

For Safari 10.0 and above

  1. Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Plug-in Settings.
  3. Select Adobe Flash Player. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose On, and then click Done.
  4. For each website appearing in Currently Open Websites, choose On in the menu on the right.
  5. Close the dialog box.

For Mac OS X 10.8 and above

  1. Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Manage Website Settings.
  3. Select Adobe Flash Player.
    From the When visiting other websites menu, choose Allow.
  4. Select Done

For Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7

  1. Choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. In the Security tab, make sure that Allow Java and Allow All Other Plug-ins are enabled.
  3. Close the Preferences window.

For Safari 10.0 and above

  1. Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Plug-in Settings.
  3. Select Adobe Flash Player. From the When visiting other websites menu, choose On, and then click Done.
  4. For each website appearing in Currently Open Websites, choose On in the menu on the right.
  5. Close the dialog box.

For Mac OS X 10.8 and above

  1. Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. Click the Security tab. Ensure that Enable JavaScript and Allow Plug-ins are selected. Click Manage Website Settings.
  3. Select Adobe Flash Player.
    From the When visiting other websites menu, choose Allow.
  4. Select Done

For Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7

  1. Choose Safari > Preferences.
  2. In the Security tab, make sure that Allow Java and Allow All Other Plug-ins are enabled.
  3. Close the Preferences window.
  1. Click the Tools menu, in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer.
  2. From the Tools menu, choose Manage add-ons.
  3. Select Shockwave Flash Object from the list.
    Note:
    Ensure that your current website has rich media content. If the current website does not contain rich media content, Shockwave Flash Object doesn't appear in the list.
  4. Click Enable, and then click Close.

Disable ActiveX Filtering

  1. Open the page that has rich media content in Internet Explorer.
  2. Click the Tools menu and choose Safety > ActiveX Filtering.
  3. Close the browser and open it. Then, try to view the content.
